Dept of Rural Dev & Land Reform: Internships 2017 in Mpumalanga

The Department of Rural Development and Land Reform (DRDLR) invites Unemployed
Agricultural Graduates with a three-year diploma or degree in Agriculture who need
practical hands-on experience to improve their chances of employment to apply for
Agricultural Internships Programme opportunities that currently exist in the DRDLR
Provincial Offices. Candidates with experience will have an added advantage.

    Degree/Diploma in Agricultural Engineering
  • Degree/Diploma in Agronomy
  • Degree/Diploma in Crop Production
  • Degree/Diploma in Soil Science or Agricultural Management
  • Degree/National diploma in Forestry or Plant Production

Requirements

Applicants should reside within the Local Municipalities and/or Districts where the positions are advertised and applicants who reside close to the project site shall have an advantage. Correspondence will be limited to short-listed candidates and successful candidates only.

NB: Appointment of successful candidates is subject to positive vetting and verification of qualifications. The Department reserves the right not to appoint candidates.

Notifications

Successful applicants will be appointed for a period of 12 months. Successful candidates may be expected to reside on the project site for the duration of their contract(s).
